Guess what kind of senior thesis film I'm making? One with 'splosions! These are some tests on what works and what doesn't as far as animation explosions, ricochets, and gunshots. I'm curious how this transitions to traditional animation and I may end up having Flash elements in my film when it comes to these effects. Its really easy to work with the organic nature of the explosions when you're working straight ahead and in color. For anybody who's curious about the process, its 10% explosion and 90% smoke and follow thru.
