Man, I hated it when in 1994 a runaway planet hurdled between the moon and earth and destroyed the world as we knew it. Wait.... Man, they had crazy ideas in the 80's and one that I've recently discovered and fallen in love with is that of Thundarr the Barbarian. He's a barbarian...in the future! Cool stuff.
